The Speaker waived the State Affairs Committee referral on the                 
following at the request of Representative James, Chair:                       
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 229                                                            
"An Act prohibiting certain amplified sounds from automobiles;                
and providing for an effective date."                                          
                                                                               
HB 229 was removed from the State Affairs Committee and referred               
to the Health, Education & Social Services Committee.
